Thuy Loi University is the No. 1 university in Vietnam, annually training 18,000 students, with high quality human resources, scientific research, development and advanced technology transfer in the fields of science, engineering, economics and management, especially in the field of irrigation, environment, disaster prevention and mitigation.
SV-STARTUP – THUY LOI UNIVERSITY is a contest organized by the School Board of Directors under Project No. 1665/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam. The competition not only stimulates students’ creativity and entrepreneurship but also provides an opportunity for new ideas to be challenged and developed.
Since its launch, the contest has attracted active attention and participation from Thuy Loi University students as well as from other schools, with 42 startup ideas registering to participate. After the preliminary round, 13 best projects were selected for the semi-finals at the school level, especially with the participation of students from National Economics University, Hanoi University, Hanoi Law University, Banking Academy, and many high schools such as Hanoi – Amsterdam Specialized High School, Hanoi Viet Duc High School, Hung Vuong and Phu Tho Professional High School.
Ms. Hong Trang – General Director and CEO of EDUBELIFE Financial Skills Education Joint Stock Company (abbreviated CEO EDUBELIFE) is honored to be invited by the School Board of Directors to participate as a member of the Jury of the final contest SV-STARTUP – THUY LOI UNIVERSITY.
This year’s finalists are really excellent teams, with creative business ideas, positive impacts on the community and the environment, such as:
First prize of Safety moto project – Motorcycle and electric vehicle fire retardant equipment
The second prize went to 2 Maca projects – PRO and Robotic-HOH. Maca – PRO from Ho Chi Minh City Branch has researched macadamia nut shells as building materials, the Robotic-HOH project of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics has created a Robot arm to rehabilitate hands for people with strokes.
The third prizes are Beauty LAB – Herbal Serum The Beauty Power from the Faculty of Chemistry and Environment and the Digitravel project – Digital tourism platform of the Faculty of Economics and Management.
These 5 projects will represent Thuy Loi University to participate in the National Student Entrepreneurship Day organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in early 2024.
