Reason/Objectives:

              The Lunar New Year in 2024 create great business opportunities for Vietnamese agricultural enterprises. Businesses are hustling to focus on promoting sales on Tet through policies of “promotions, discounts, gratitude gifts, promoting marketing activities, increasing selling costs …”. However, it is a fact that:

• Many businesses offer policies, the sales discount rate is still “emotional”, there is no specific measurement tool for financial performance. Therefore, Tet sales have not brought the desired profit despite the increase in consumption.
• On the other hand, due to legal characteristics, the application of the policy “Tet promotion, marketing expenses, sales in 2024 Tet holidays” sets legal requirements for enterprises to comply. Legal knowledge on this issue is quite dificult, making enterprises need to pay a lot of attention and research adequately otherwise it will lead to economic losses and unfortunate violations of the law.
