Ms Hồng Trang – CEO of EDUBELIFE – Expert in finance and business for NEXUS’s Startups

New Energy Nexus is an famous international organization that supports clean energy entrepreneurs with funds, accelerators and networks. They started in California and now operate programs in China, India, Southeast Asia, and East Africa.

With “Vietnam Energy Accelerator program” on October, November, 2020  Ms Hong Trang Nguyen – CEO of EDUBELIFE was invited by NEXUS to train and mentor in finance, business for Vietnam Startups which were cllected carefully in Vietnam in 2020.

There are 3 topics that Ms Hong Trang trained at the WorkShops:

1. Design Thinking and Business Model Canvas (
2. Financial Strategy
3. Enterprise Evaluation

There are 5 particular startups which were choosen to be supported by NEXUS, including:

1. EDEEC – Building energy modelling
2. 2. IOTeam – Energy monitoring system for household
3. 3. Multi Meter Machine – Energy saving platform
4. 4. WiiBike – Environment friendly Electric Bike
5. 5. INGINE – On-Shore electricity generator from harnessing Wave Energy

Ms. Hong Trang is really happy to see the positive change of the founders after each training session. From being still very surprised with the concept of revenue, deductible expenses according to the provisions of the law or from the initial start of being surprised with financial ratios and items, they have been really matured after Work shop 2,3. They are able to make by themshefl the balance sheets, P&L statements and especially valuate their own business.

The warm, joyful, happy looking of the founders those have achieved valuable knowledge in finance and business through easy-to-understand lessons of Ms. Hong Trang – have made EDUBELIFE team very happy. This is like a fire encourage us to work tirelessly because of bringing financial and business knowledge to the community as well as being a better life.
